Our annual awards were created in 2010 to ensure that worthy individuals working in Petroleum Land Administration receive the recognition they deserve. The awards also honour the outstanding Petroleum Land Administration community and the professional endeavours that strengthen our profession and contribute to the community.
 
THE AWARDS
 
We invite you to nominate worthy candidates for CAPLA Awards in the following categories:
 
Rising Star
(One award) - To be considered for nomination a member should be or have been an active member of the Association for five years or less and shall have made outstanding contributions in building the future of the Association with innovative ideas, energy and enthusiasm and delivering results and sustained value to the Association by working effectively with others.
 
Outstanding Volunteer of the Year
(One award) - To be considered for nomination a member should be or have been an active member of the Association for more than five years and shall have made outstanding contributions toward the success of the Association while in various roles and positions within the Association.
 
President's Award
(Up to 3 awards) - To be considered for nomination a member should be or have been an active member of the Association for a minimum of ten years and shall have made outstanding contributions in the building of the Association over a sustained period.
 
The following awards are presented by the CAPLA Board of Directors at the annual Awards Luncheon:
 
CAPLA Champion Awards
Awarded by the Board of Directors to corporations who have supported CAPLA through partnerships, sponsorships and encouraging their employees to become involved with CAPLA initiatives.
 
THE CELEBRATION
 
Recipients will be honoured and their awards presented at the CAPLA Awards Luncheon, which is held in May each year.
