Target Audience

This course is intended for anyone interested in an overview of Alberta's Reclamation Program for Upstream Oil and Gas Sites. The course material was designed and developed as a general introduction and from an administrative perspective.

Course Description

This course consists of an introduction, history and update on the latest changes to the Reclamation Certificate Application for oil and gas sites in Alberta. All components now required to be submitted with the Reclamation Application, such as the Phase I, DWD Compliance Option and DSA will all be reviewed along with relevant industry examples.

What To Bring

Participants are encouraged to bring their own samples and questions, which will be discussed if time permits.

Instructor Bio(s)
Sherry Perchaluk, Reclamation Coordinator Consultant, has been involved in the reclamation and environmental areas for over 5 years and also has direct experience in oil and gas engineering and operations. She has over 14 years experience teaching business related courses and holds a Bachelor of Education Degree, Certificate in Adult & Continuing Education and has completed her Petroleum Land Administration Certificate.

**PLEASE NOTE: Tea, coffee, water and lunch will be served with this course.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
- Provided the CAPLA office receives the request in writing 2 weeks prior to the course, a refund minus a $50 administration fee will be issued. CAPLA reserves the right to move a person into another class rather than issuing a refund. Substitutions can be made at anytime.
- Two weeks prior to a course, only substitutions can be made.
If for any reason CAPLA needs to postpone a class, individuals will be moved into a new class time or a refund will be issued.
