Course CalendarRegistration/Cancellation PoliciesCAPLA will reimburse course fees provided a participant withdraws in writing (fax, email or Canada Post) 30 days prior to the date of a course. If a participant fails to cancel registration within this time, a refund will not be issued; however, a substitute may be sent in place of the registered participant. If a participant is unable to find a substitute, but we are able to fill the spot from the waiting list, we will issue a refund minus the administration charge. Companies that initially register a non-member and substitute a member will not be reimbursed the balance of the fee. CAPLA will impose a $50.00 administration charge on all cancelled registrations. Course MaterialsCAPLA provides course materials only to individuals who register for and attend courses. It is our goal to provide educational opportunities to the membership as well as to the industry as a whole and we feel that this is best achieved if the materials are accompanied by qualified instruction. Course materials will not be provided under any circumstances to individuals who do not attend courses. Course Development & ReviewOur mandate is to develop and incorporate new courses into the education portfolio and to continually review the content of existing courses to ensure that they are meeting or exceeding industry standards.
